More Patient Interviews

I was one of the first few patients to undergo a stem-cell transplant (in May 2016) in my right knee after being diagnosed with severe osteoarthritis from a chondral defect. I have dealt with 10 years of knee pain and have done PT and other therapies, none fixing the problem. Now at 11 months post-transplant and have ZERO pain. I have had a full recovery and am participating in 100% of my previous activities. I WALKED out of the office post-procedure, and am fully recovered after completing PT.

Thirty years with the same physician says something — and everything it says about Dr. Wagner is good. He has been my general physician for as long as I can remember, guiding me through countless common ailments, injuries, and referrals to outstanding specialists — including seven knee surgeries (replacements 10 years ago) and one shoulder surgery over the years. More recently I have also benefitted greatly from stem cell and PRP treatments under his care, addressing issues in both shoulders, an ankle, and two thumbs. The relief has been significant — not perfect, but so much better than before. What I want to especially highlight is his availability. In thirty years of navigating the medical system I have learned that a doctor who is genuinely accessible is rare. When I have an urgent need, Dr. Wagner consistently gets me in within a day or so — and sometimes the same day. That alone is worth its weight in gold. Dr. Wagner, thank you for three decades of attentive, skilled, and compassionate care. I am deeply grateful for the way you have shown up for me year after year, and I have every confidence you will continue to be there when the need arises.

Dr. Wagner did a Stem Cell Procedure on both my knees. I am very pleased with how the procedure went and how my knees are doing since. I have talked with several friends and family members about my experience and highly recommended it.

Dr. Wagner is amazing in what he does with stem cell! He treated both my shoulders and they feel great! I received a call from him the very next day asking me how I was doing and if I had any questions or any issues to call his office anytime. When I'm completely done with this I will be seeing him about my knee next! Anything to keep from having major surgery is fine by me! I highly recommend anyone who wants less down time, faster recovery and a lot less pain to go see him!

Prior to meeting with Dr Wagner I was unable to lift my right arm above my waistline and right hip, knee & ankle were so painful I could not walk 5 steps without stopping to sit and rest. After several X-rays & MRI's Dr Wagner assured me he could help me with shoulder & hip stem cell procedures. I just finished my 6 week follow up with Dr Wagner and having 6 weeks of intense PT i am playing catch with my grandsons and walking as if there was never an issue with pain. I highly recommend Dr Wagner as he not only made a seemingly hopeless condition pain-free but I now have vision of playing softball again (65+ league) and becoming active (golf, waterskiing, walking-hiking with family) as I once enjoyed throughout most of my adult life. There was a time I could not remember what it was like to wake up without pain beyond tolerance. Today is the "Best-day-Ever" compared to 2 months prior. Thank you Mark!

Dr. Wagner is the real deal. Been skiing Whistler for the past 30+ years, love the mountain and the powder. My hurting came sneaky: months of unrelenting knee pain without injury. Tried everything: acupuncture, physio, stretches. No avail. I was hardly able to walk when MRI finally confirmed the worst, significant cartilage and meniscal damage, and the only traditional remedy is surgery, likely radical. In came Dr. W and his highly professional team. Six wks on the dot after stem/PRP, I was on my skis again (shorter & lighter version, albeit) down blue slopes and walking 90% normal. Amazing results, no painkiller of any sort since wk 3. Being an MD myself, I know the trick is to stimulate regrowth of healthy cartilage without inflammation, and I stuck religiously to protocol, every new cell counts. Crutches were used for delicate and dedicated physio moves and stretches. Turning hurt to hope is huge. My next appt is at 12 wks. God willing, maybe I’ll make a full recovery. P.S. I’m seventy.
